Expertise You Can Depend On
Concrete Fiber Solutions (CFS), Inc. has been pioneering steel fiber reinforcement solutions since 2013. We provide engineered slab solutions with our trademarked ProSlab Design, delivering superior slab performance while significantly reducing the Global Warming Potential (GWP) of concrete floor construction.
Our steel fibers, the backbone of our ProSlab Design, are manufactured in Chicago from byproducts of other U.S. manufacturing processes. They are the most carbon-friendly reinforcement option on the market, verified through our published Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). In fact, CFS steel fibers have a:
GWP number that is 15x more carbon-friendly than most steel fibers
GWP number that is 20x more carbon-friendly than most synthetic fibers
GWP number that is 25x more carbon-friendly than most Grade 60 rebar
And that’s before factoring in freight. Because our product is made domestically and does not require international shipping, the overall environmental impact is even lower.
Beyond sustainability, CFS brings proven expertise with over 100 million square feet of installed slabs across a wide range of projects. Our ProSlab engineered floor systems improve durability, minimize maintenance, and lower long-term costs - all while supporting a more eco-conscious approach to construction.
CFS supports engineers, contractors and developers with advanced design tools, technical consultation, and project-specific fiber dosage recommendations. Whether for slab-on-grade, composite metal deck, or external paving applications, our solutions are engineered to last. We also specialize in slabs for cold storage and controlled environment facilities, as well as ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) warehouses, providing precision-engineered solutions that meet the unique performance demands of these critical spaces.
Our team, our fibers and our ProSlab system consistently deliver measurable, long-term performance gains, cost efficiencies, and sustainability solutions for slabs of any scale or complexity.
